FAQ

Sheela, what kind of personal coaching do you do?

Created with Sketch.

I offer personal holistic coaching where I tailor my approach based on each client's needs. By gathering information about their lifestyle, history, challenges, and aspirations, I create a personalized plan. I provide coaching for specific challenges, but if there are underlying emotional factors involved, I incorporate emotion-based modalities. I strive to stay flexible and resourceful for the client's benefit, using an eclectic yet solution-focused coaching style that blends logic with intuition.

What motivated you to do coaching and therapy?

In 2005 I was diagnosed with migraine, tinnitus, and fibromyalgia within a short period while living in Germany. The healthcare professionals I consulted with immediately prescribed anti-depressants as a treatment. However, I refused medication and was determined to understand the underlying causes of these conditions rather than just managing the symptoms. In my quest for relief, I discovered the benefits of alternative healing practices such as Reiki, Jin Shin Jyutsu, and hypnosis, which proved to be tremendously helpful. Through exploring hypnosis, I became acquainted with regression therapy and spiritual regression, which further enhanced my healing journey. These complementary methods had such a positive impact on me that I decided to study hypnotherapy, alongside brain-based coaching, to expand my knowledge and provide comprehensive support to others.

What kind of trainings have you completed, Sheela? And how long have you been coaching?

My initial professional background was in law, where I practiced as a litigation lawyer for a few years in Malaysia. After that, I transitioned into the recruiting field. These experiences continue to shape my coaching style now. In the early 2010s, I obtained certifications in several coaching and therapy modalities. I underwent brain-based coaching training with the NeuroLeadership Institute USA. Additionally, I received training and certification in hypnosis, regression therapy, and spiritual regression techniques from the Past Life Regression Academy in the UK. I began my coaching career in 2012.

How many coaching sessions would I need with you to solve a problem?

I believe that self-discovery, healing, and finding solutions to recurring challenges are unique journeys for each individual. There is no single fixed approach that works for everyone. When working with clients, I empower them to make their own decisions based on their specific needs, level of commitment, and progress. Some clients may find significant benefits from just a single session, while others may prefer regular sessions for ongoing self-discovery. For clients who require a more structured and customised plan, I encourage them to check out The Inner Quest Programme which was created just for that reason.

What is the difference between Clarity Coaching and Regression Therapy?

In coaching, we focus on providing pragmatic solutions to dilemmas and work towards goal setting and practical pathways to achieve objectives. For instance, I had a client who wanted to redefine herself after being a housewife for 16 years. In our first session, we conducted a personal inventory and identified her existing skills, passions, and financial resources. Based on this, we created a list of short-term and mid-term goals. Over the course of six months and eight sessions, the client successfully transitioned from a housewife to a personal coach in her chosen field. Despite facing challenges and moments of doubt, having a plan and someone to be accountable to, as well as receiving reminders of her progress, helped her stay motivated.

Regression therapy, on the other hand, is suited for individuals who wish to work with deep memories and explore the unseen world. It often involves utilizing light hypnosis and guided visualization to facilitate inner focus, healing, and finding solutions. For instance, I had a client who was grieving for his deceased daughter and experiencing persistent emotional stress. Since counseling had been previously attempted without success, I suggested regression therapy as an alternative. In the session, the father was guided into a state of deep relaxation, creating an inner space to potentially connect with his daughter. In this deeply introspective state, the client was able to release pent-up anger and sadness during a conversation with his daughter's soul. My role was to ensure the client found the information and relief he sought, leading to a sense of closure. The interaction with his daughter inspired him to redirect his energy into more beneficial endeavors. This highlights how regression therapy can be valuable for releasing or resolving unbeneficial emotions that hinder one's ability to fully enjoy life.
